Two very special Poppy Parker’s were announced in October 2020. Both were designed by Jason Wu and limited to a low 450 edition. These were sold through a W Club lottery and I was heart broken not to win one! Right after the lottery was announced something odd started happening, the Poppy’s listed on ebay went over the normal high price we would expect for a limited doll – $300/$400, instead they sky-rocketed to the dizzy heights of $1000+! Most members who were selling decided to cash in on this and the best prices I personally saw were in the $800 mark. I think a year of boredom stuck at home gave everyone the extra cash to be able to splurge to these dizzy heights! I lost all hope of getting these dolls at anything near retail! However due to some amazing club members I finally managed to get both girls!
They are have a very simple screening based on the Bergdorf Goodman Poppy which was limited to 200, and each is stunning in her own way. I have both dressed in their original outfits at the moment but will re-dress them soon!
